On June 28th-29th, 2017, The TUT-POL Team participated in Mobilize Santiago 2017, the annual sustainable transport summit of the Institute for Transportation and Development Policy (ITDP). Attended by urban transport and development researchers and practitioners from around the world, this year’s event took place in Santiago, Chile and focused on the theme of “Just and inclusive cities become the new normal.” In the plenary session, “Governing Urban Accessibility: Moving beyond transport and mobility,” Project Director Diane Davis presented the case of Seoul, Korea to highlight how certain policy implementation processes can expand longer-term capacities to govern urban accessibility.
